Missions are important to us because we believe the church exists for the world, not just for itself.

Our mission is "to boldly seek the transformation of our community by inviting every person to be a follower of Jesus Christ." This is more than words on a page; it is a calling we try to live out every day. As part of ECO, we believe the church should be "a light that draws people from every tribe and tongue and nation to be reconciled to God." This purpose guides everything we do, from Sunday worship to serving our neighbors through outreach. Without a mission, a church can become focused only on itself, but through Jesus Christ, we are called to reach out to our community, to those who are hurting, and to those who feel lost.

Our vision is to be "a welcoming family of imperfect people who find wholeness through Jesus Christ." This reminds us that missions are not just about reaching out; they are also about creating a place where people feel they belong. When we serve our community, we offer that same welcome to everyone who has not yet found it in Him. ECO's essential beliefs remind us that glorifying God means showing His nature in the life of the church, and this happens most when we serve and love those around us. Missions are simply how we follow Jesus Christ's example and put our faith into action.
